WEST PALM Beach, Fla. — A Fort Lauderdale defense attorney is accused of smuggling cocaine into the key Palm Beach County jail.
David Casals was arrested Friday on felony costs of trafficking cocaine, supply of cocaine and introduction of contraband into a county facility.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Place of work spokeswoman Teri Barbera claimed Casals tried to disguise authorized documents “saturated in cocaine” into the jail.
Barbera claimed Casals turned himself in and was later on released from jail soon after putting up a $58,000 bond.
